Monday mornings can be harsh. Not only are we in March and the temperature is still pretty bad (-15 degrees, really?) but we’re still 5 days away from the week-end :P. As I can’t stand my winter coat anymore I went back to my layering strategies. This outfit started pretty preppy but adding some new hand-made Jill Golden accessories changed the entire look. This New York designer and myself share the same passion: traveling. Personally, there is nothing more inspiring and gratifying than discovering new places. Her line is influenced by her adventures which makes each collection so unique. I am currently wearing pieces from the Saint-Germain collection which was actually my favorite spot in Paris last summer (nostalgia aaah…). Bold, chunky, studded; just how I like my jewelry to be ;). Recently, she launched the ISARO collection in partnership with the social enterprise Indego Africa where every piece is made by artisans in Rwanda. The colorful beaded details and the Swarovski crystals are making the bracelets the perfect spring accessory…while supporting a great cause obviously :).

Les lundis matins peuvent être difficiles. Non seulement nous sommes au mois de Mars et la température ne s’améliore toujours pas (-15 degrés, vraiment?) mais en plus nous sommes à 5 jours de la fin de semaine :P. Puisque je ne supporte tout simplement plus mon manteau d’hiver, je suis retournée à mes stratégies de superposition de vêtements. Cette tenue a tout d’abord commencé par une inspiration “bon chic bon genre” mais en ajoutant mes nouveaux bijoux faits à la main Jill Golden mon look a subitement changé. Cette designer de New York et moi même partageons la même passion: le voyage. Personnellement je trouve qu’il n’y a rien de plus inspirant et de gratifiant que de découvrir de nouveaux endroits. Sa ligne est influencée par ses nombreuses aventures ce qui rend chaque collection si unique. Je porte ici des bijoux de la collection Saint-Germain, qui était d’ailleurs mon quartier préféré lors de mon séjour à Paris l’été passé (aaah nostalgie…). Audacieux, bien travaillé et clouté; tout ce que j’aime d’un bijou ;). Récemment, elle a lancé la collection ISARO en partenariat avec l’entreprise sociale Afrique Indego où chaque pièce est fabriquée par des artisans au Rwanda. Les détails de perles colorées et les cristaux Swarovski font de ces bracelets l’accessoire parfait pour le printemps…tout en soutenant une bonne cause bien entendu :).
